if there is anything that i am going to take out of my sophomore year of high school, its that everything lives on in memory and that nothing truly dies. everything happens, but nothing is completely removed. so it goes.

everyone knows of the basic jokes, ranging from 'knock knock!' to every joke you can make thats inappropriate. and everything has to start somewhere right? so, one person had to have thought of such a joke, said it, and it spread like wildfire. take the basic knock knock joke, for instance. it didnt just appear out of thin air and everyone started saying it, someone had to have thought of it, said it, and let it spread. imagine how long it would take to try to spread a joke around the world, simply by word of mouth. it must take years, from country to country. if the guy who first thought of the 'knock knock' joke got a penny for every time i
